HoHoHo! Merry Christmas!
Hope everyone’s having a nice Christmas and happy holidays. T’is the season for joking around with the surname “Ho” — HoHoHo! Somewhat randomly, I’ve recently discovered that the email application Eudora marks “The Ho’s” as a potentially offensive epithet. A friend of mine still uses Eudora (it’s a nice email app, but I haven’t used it since 1997), and we were planning a get together at my place (The Ho’s) when I found out that my last name could be offensive… But it’s kinda funny to me and reminds me of Eddie Murphy making “being a Ho” famous… creating a seemingly endless number of jokes for those who know Asian Americans with this humorous name….
